Deposit required to begin work on a site is $145.00. This is the total of the Start Up Fee, Domain Registration and 6 months of Hosting. The balance due will be billed once construction of the site is finished and will be due 14 days from the date of the invoice, unless prior arrangements have been made.

The Start Up Fee is a one time fee which covers getting your account set up on the host, design of 1 or 2 custom backgrounds, buttons or navigation system and, if you have an existing logo, creating a web site graphic from that logo.

The Domain Registration fee is for acquiring your own web site address (URL) such as www.tdmequinedesign.com. The fee of $20 is for 1 year of registration. After that time the registration will need to be renewed on a yearly basis.


To have a presence on the internet, one must have a 'place' to store the web site files and graphics for vistors to be able to view them. This place on the internet is called a Web Host and there are numerous hosting services to be found. The biggest problem is the price that most hosts charge for this space. Space is provided at a certain price for a certain amount of space. The space is calculated in megabytes (MBs).

In an effort to provide my clients with affordable hosting, I have found a hosting service that allows me to set my own rates for my clients. The Hosting Fee of $25 for 3 months (quarterly billing cycle) of hosting is a nominal charge that I felt would not break anyone's bank account. Each quarter TDM Equine Design will send its clients an invoice to renew their web site hosting for another 3 months.


Charges for Web Page Design are for new pages only...a one time charge for the design of each new page you want on your web site. Updates and changes to existing pages are billed at an hourly rate of $20 per hour. Billing actually is done in 30 minute increments at $10 per 30 minutes. Most changes to a site are very quick and do not take much time at all.


NOTICE: As of March 1, 2001, TDM Equine Design will require that all clients read and sign a Web Site Agreement. This agreement will be for the protection of both parties in the event that the business relationship is terminated by either party. It is not a term contract binding either party to a particular length of time of service. It is an Agreement that explains what will happen if and when such a termination of service should take place and what each party's responsibilities will be. It is for the protection of BOTH parties.

When you have read the contract thoroughly, please print, sign and mail to TDM Equine Design at the address at the bottom of the document. If you have any questions after reading the Agreement, please do not hesitate to bring those questions to me for further explanation and discussion before you sign it.

The Do-It-Yourself Basic plan is more than adequate for the typical horse farm or ranch.

For tack shops or other retail equine business that requires a Shopping Cart for on-line orders, a larger package will be required.

Technical Support and Help is available via an online manual that will guide you through the process of setting up and maintaining your site. If more personal assistance is needed it will be available at a reasonable consulting rate.
